Korean ginseng chicken soup

Full recipe: www.maangchi.com Maangchi is making korean style ginseng chicken soup called “Sam-gye-tang”. You will need chicken (small cornish hen), garlic, fresh ginseng roots, dates, and green onions.

why do u use that kind of pot other than the regular ones? Does that one working better? and do you know where I can get that kind of pot?

@liya182 Yes, I think so. Use just 1 tbs powder.

please note that there are no dates in the dishes. these are jujubes. they look like small dates but they are very different. you can get them at korean stores.

@schweetheartmonkee It says cornish hens weigh on average about 1 1/4 lbs
