yea but punk isnt so much a genre of music than it is a result. an outcome…punk started as a genre becuase 4 kids that were sucky musicians met up in garage one day and put the little music ability they had together. thats why iggy, mc5, those kind of bands are punk. they have little musical ability (when they started) and played it. the result was punk
