Video of a near-miss lightning strike in Norman, OK in July 2007, as the cloud-to-ground stroke nearly struck storm chaser Curtis M. Cool vid. The discription is wrong lightning strikes from the ground to the cloud not the cloud to the ground.

@Fira777 I learned in school that lightning is so hot that it actually cuts through the air leaving a space of nothingness and when the lightning recedes, the air rushes back together and it is so forceful it creates a loud sound known as thunder.. Pretty cool.
