And If it wasn`t for Electricity the World Wide Web could never exist. If it wasn`t for communication lines/technology the World Wide Web could have never existed. etc..etc.. Your argument is useless and pointless. What matters is the Invention that makes something useful for everyone. The World Wide Web changed the world. Just like the Automobile changed the world while the first combustion Engine didn`t. The invention that makes something useful is the one that rules the world. CERN FTW!!!

The Internet was almost completely unheard of before Tim berner-lee created the World Wide Web and created the very first Web Browser working at Cern. In all many nations, people and institutions finally led to a useful global tool.
