That was the album. Not the song. The song itself was a worldwide hit. They were not saying that his invincible album sales were low, in fact they were way over average, but for MJ that was considered low.

I dont get it either. It was a great album. But i dont think it was promoted properly. Which is sad because Invincible is truly a work of art.

Yeah they did, the American press were downplaying it and saying it “only” sold 10 million copies. They kept trying to compare it to other albums.
