      could you please do a vidio on Betavoltaics, this is my current research I would greatly appreciate so exposer on advance energy. I am currently studying Betavoltaics with 32Si semiconductors.

      I am so annoyed there was nothing this good to encourage me to study Chem 20yrs ago!! top stuff!

      Thanks for taking the time to do these videos, informative and intriguing.

      most of the iron wool burned away b4 there was any reaction.

      Oxidation is losing an electron
      OILRIG
      Oxidation Is Loss
      Reduction Is Gain

      In this case the metal atoms - aluminium, iron have lost an electron and the chlorine has gained one. As said at the beginning - “Chlorine will move Heaven and Earth to get an electron”.

      Great work - Thanks to all that worked on the shoot.

      oxidization doesnt really need oxygen

      @ammanRex
      I suppose the oldest oxidation process known is reaction with oxygen (e.g. rusting of iron). When people discovered that metals loosed electrons when reacting with oxygen that process was also called oxidation. Another name would have created less confusion.

      pero si es ganancia de electrones se lleva acabo una Reducción en la Cual el Agente Oxidante da lugar a la forma o especie reducida, se Debe tener en cuenta que los agentes Forman parte de los reactantes y las formas o especies estan en los productos.Esto es una reacción REDOX (REDuccion-OXidación) se debe de dar ambas sino no es una reacción REDOX

    12. Baraka

      Para ser más EXACTOS la perdida o ganancia de electrones se Manifiesta en la variación del estado de oxidación o también llamado número de oxidación, por tal motivo la oxidación es perdida de electrones por lo que a la Sustancia se le denomina Agente Reductor, el Cual géneros la especie o forma oxidada,
