Starved of food and common humanity, Shin proves that gulags are still a tragic reality. We were always hungry. Shins most vivid memory of his life in the camp is the constant hunger he felt, food made me escape, even if it was going to cost me my life. The only thing that interested me was the food. The truly sad thing is that historically, the beasts that carry out these inhuman atrocities are rarely punished if at all.

What, so they are communist because they say so? You going to say the KKK is Christian next?

The country is not organized in the most fascist way possible. It is a paternal autocracy, something communism was created to destroy. I say this as a communist myself, the Kingdom of Korea is not communist and never has been. Communism strictly makes sure that everyone is equal. There is no equality in the PDRK.

Saying the the PDRK is communist is like saying Osama bin Laden is a Muslim.

I thought North Korea has diplomatic ties with China? Cause North Korean defactors who come to China are returned back to North Korea.

South-Korea has the backing of China and US, who already have soldiers scattered around borders. And a much bigger army than N-Korea for a start.

Also I just want to add and stress the point that, Britain in history, used embargoes and controlled certain trade, because of other countries that wanted resources too. You seem to be only looking at bad, or negative things, that Great Britain did. Yes, they were not absolute “Saints” did maybe exploit to a certain extent. But, and this is a fact, Great Britain, did more good for countries throughout the world, than they did Bad.

Yes thats true, Britain Introduced Christianity to certain native countries, many that were tribal, and Killed their own, as sacrifices, and had voodoo beliefs and other tribal tendencies. And to tell you the truth, introducing Christianity to these countries wasnt actually a “Bad” thing. But helped better them as a people.

part 2 - With bombardment of Seoul, world economy would go into tailspin. China might impose sanctions on those who try to prolong the war in any way. A ground invasion of NK would not go ahead - too appalling a cost in, Please ask any more questions you have, I am glad to help! Paul
