Let’s Speak Korean 01 Some advice before you start is to LEARN THE KOREAN ALPHABET (한글/Hangul) BEFORE YOU BEGIN!. This show assumes you know Hangul already and I suggest you learn Hangul as well, because with Korean it can sometimes be nearly impossible to pronounce words correctly when you rely on the English transliterations alone, there are so many different ways people type Hangul in English and no standard that you’ll often find yourself looking at something you wrote or something …
I THINK both means nice to meet you (not very sure about the first one). Mandaseo, bangapseumnida is a formal way of saying nice to meet you, or if not so formal way of saying, its simply, banggapseumnida.

does anyone know what “pikawayo” mean? is it something about the rain? i was watching a korean show and they were teaching this word but because they spoke korean all the time i cudnt get what that means.

YOUR RIGHT! but some you got worng! in korean theres both words for hello bye and stuff! anyounghasayeo is hello for and adult and anyoung is a hello for your on firends! my culture is korean so i know! well the other people are american but not me! he he! (im korean like i just said im stupid) ok well im just saying! bye and peace

Thanks heymanhaha and ssisuro for replying. Wow, some words are really different when you hear it. Appreciate the help! What I love with speaking Hangul, is their accent. It has a very SWEET tone — charming!

Is it Ma na SO, Pang gap SO or
is it Ma na TA, Pang gap TA? And what is the difference between a “SO” vs “TA” ?

In the Korean Language system, there are many ways to say the same thing. This is because it could be said politely, casually, impolite or very polite.
