I know thats why taekwondo is passed off as karate in many movies its just a case of misidentification i geuss if you are martial artist like myself then you would know the difference.

This is Tae Kwon Do passing off as Karate, probably because Karate sounds cooler and tougher. Karate sells better in movies. Most people think of Tae Kwon Do as a sport, with competitors wearing lots of protection and simply playing tag.

I do not believe I did the boxer for 5 years. Tae kwon do with a good knowledge of ju jitsu is very strong.The mhuay thai is a good martial art, but not complete for a real street fighter.
