amen to that dude. the art style is absolutely amazing. I actually read mononoke which im guessing its the equivalent to ayakashi bakeneko and then watched mononoke and fell in love with its art style. ayakashi bakeneko was kind disapointing art wise cause i expected u know the same as mononoke lol, but its still pretty aweosme.

No. Ayakashi - Japanese Horror Stories consists of 3-4 (?) different standalone stories based around typical Japanese horror myths, such as around the ayakashi or the bakeneko. Mononoke is the spinoff anime show based on the Bakeneko part, due to its high popularlity, and it stands out not only because of great and interesting storytelling, but also artstyle.

Nope. Kekkaishi is different. This anime has more to do with another called “Mononoke”.

I have this awesome dvd! I only have two in this series does any one know if Yutsuya(Goddess of the Dark tower) Ghost story is still on dvd and is still in video stores or do I have to order it? If I get this one I will be able to complete the whole series=)
