Everything You Wanted To Know About Stem Cells… But…

Google Tech Talks July 31, 2007 ABSTRACT Stem cell technology and the debate surrounding it has generated a great deal of excitement and controversy in recent years. The field is surrounded by misconceptions, hype and yet very significant potential. In this talk we’ll cover: defining what are stem cells really and where do they come from… the differences between embryonic stem cells and ‘adult stem cells’ (ie derived from our own bone marrow, fat, umbilical cord blood, placentas and even …

The 3-5 day embryos are NOT destroyed in stem cell research. They are artificially pulled apart from one another, and kept alive for the purpose of differentiation, and maturation. The corporation controls the development of the full body and substance of an alive individual, not as a whole, but as alive pieces of a whole, minus those discarded in the process.
A 9 month old embryonic stem cell line is de facto alive infant tissues in a dish.

I agree with you. Morality and ethics are man made things. It is relative to society and will always change.
As I see it, what matters is that you are trying to use technology for the betterment of society and people.
A life is theoretically lost every time a woman menstruates.
Really life is without meaning, so let people have a good life while we are here!

Now i know that embrionic stem cell research has so far not given positive results but if we were to get a better grasp on it, we could make a break through.
Now i do not know if you are a women or not but say you are and you get pregnant but you would not be able to keep the baby. Now if one of your friends is in a car crash and she cannot walk. If someone told you that your egg could give your friend their legs back would you do it?

When my kid was born me and his mother went to a company named Cord Blood America to store my babies umbilical cord stem cells just in case my child comes down with an illness in the future.
Stem Cells can cure several disease and illnesses to be against that is wicked.
God created science and stem cells.

Adult stem cells is the way to go. No harm done and the unhealthy can get healthy. (Sounds like it is something from the Bible). Stemgevity may be the answer millions are looking for.

Yes, and an embryo can split and become twins, so obviously they are two separate people. Also 2 can fuse to become a one chimera person(same gender or two gender being intersexed).
